The magazine of the Torquay Pottery Collectors Society is called SCANDY and it is published four times a year, for the benefit of Society members. It is an A5 sized publication which, following a major change of image in the summer of 1999, is now of forty pages (usually), up to twenty of which are in colour; plus full colour covers.
The magazine provides members with full details of forthcoming events, reports on recent events, letters from members and advertisements; in addition to numerous detailed articles on all aspects of Torquay pottery. Here you will find everything from cottageware to terracotta, from faience to barbotine and from grotesques to sgraffito. If you are a serious collector of any type of Torquay pottery, you cannot afford to be without it. SCANDY is only available to members of the T.P.C.S. so subscribe today.
